Wounds that Heal: Theology, Imagination and Health

Wounds that Heal: Theology, Imagination and Health, Editor Jonathan Baxter, Published SPCK, London, 2007.

One of the delights of this book is that it is not just from one pen, but it is an anthology of essays from a variety of distinguished authors (not least the Archbishop of Canterbury) on many aspects of the Christian healing ministry, exemplified by the work and outreach of Holy Rood House, Thirsk, a Centre for Health and Pastoral Care.  The chapters are skilfully organised with a unifying emphasis on the imagination as an aspect of health which is often under-represented in the Christian healing ministry.
