Prayer for Israel and the Nations

Psalm 122

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
“May they be secure who love you!
Peace be within your walls
and security within your towers!”
For my brothers and companions’ sake
I will say, “Peace be within you!”
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your good.

Prayer for Israel and the Nations meets at 162 Cregagh House in the Chapel

on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 11 am.

We discuss what is happening in Israel and also around the world over a cup of coffee.

We then proceed to pray for any difficult situations in Israel and worldwide including our

own Province of Northern Ireland.  This can be very enlightening and challenges us to

pray wider than our own limited areas of concern.

We meet every second Tuesday in the month at 11.00am

at 162 Upper Knockbreda Road, BT6 9QF in the chapel for prayer.

Orleen writes;

You are invited to join us as we intercede for the troubled regions of the world and for the persecuted Christian Churches.  Our focus is mainly on the Middle East and on the nation of Israel because God has commanded us to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6; Isaiah 62: 6-7. Psalm 102:13 and Joel 2: 17.

We pray for the nations and their leaders.

We pray for Christians persecuted across the world.

After prayer time we have refreshments and a time to chat in the common room and catch up with our own situations.

God said, “I will bless those who bless you…” (Genesis 12:3; Romans 15:27).
